Currently, we are in partnership with a Victorian agency dedicated to emergency services, undertaking a significant program of work to optimise its People and Culture (P&C) processes.

As a Senior Project Manager/Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and completing these process optimisation initiatives.This role offers an initial 8 month contract and requires 1-2 days a week onsite presence in Blackburn North Vic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive roadmap and sprint plan to guide the project to success.
  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate a team of P&C subject matter experts, fostering collaboration and ensuring efficient delivery.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop robust mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Change Management: Ensure the teams are effectively engaged throughout the project to minimise resistance to change and maximise adoption of new processes.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Lead workshops to gather requirements and inform the broader P&C transformation program.

Requirements

About You:

  • You are a proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a drive for results.
  • You are a collaborative team player with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You thrive in dynamic environments and adapt readily to evolving project requirements.

Essential:

  • Minimum of eight years experience in a project management and organisational change management role.
  • Strong expertise in change management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to work in complex environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of project management and Agile methodologies

Desirable:

  • Experience working on government or health sector projects.
  • Background in Information Technology (IT) transformations.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Change Management or a related field.
