About the Role

The Service Desk Officer will be a valued member of the IT team and is responsible for providing the first point of contact for AWH staff providing 1st level customer service support to incidents and requests while ensuring a high level of professionalism and within the agreed service level targets.

This role is full-time on-site position at AWH’s Wodonga office.

We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity.

  • Exceptional customer service skills providing a friendly, ‘can-do’ approach to resolving requests.
  • Ability to communicate solutions to customer problems, via different methods of communication (email, phone, face to face).
  • Experience in working collaboratively to identify and implement continuous service improvement for IT.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities with an analytical, methodical, and effective approach.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Framework.
  • Demonstrated skills in and the ability to support Microsoft Windows Desktop and Office suite of applications and peripheral devices.
  • Degree or Certificate 3 in Information Technology or related field, or currently studying to obtain any of these certifications or equivalent industry experience.
  • Current valid Australian Driver’s license.
