The Opportunity

TAFE NSW is looking for qualified, experienced individuals who wish to be considered for a Casual Teaching opportunity in Hospitality currently located at Hamilton Campus in Newcastle.

About you

You will love this position if you like to share your passion in the Hospitality industry and have a minimum of three (3) years industry experience within the last five (5 years) as a supervisor or Manager in a licenced premise, front of house, Food and Beverage experience. You are ready to educate a team of passionate students from a range of backgrounds to achieve their personal and work goals whilst developing and implementing an educational and career plan. You will have effective and flexible communication skills.

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

You will have:

Diploma of Hospitality Management (SIT60322) or equivalent The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent Food and Beverage Specialists Current NSW RSA Comprehensive current knowledge of the industry and job roles and strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the hospitality sector
