Role Overview
UMENCO is recruiting an adaptable and multifaceted Store Manager to join an iconic Australian brand, where the vibrant surf culture continues to inspire its mission.
This noted lifestyle brand is known for its holistic and transparent approach to thoughtful design, responsible business practices, and sustainable manufacturing. They are a proud B-Corp certified business known for their luxurious organic cotton essentials that sit alongside seasonal mainline collections.
The successful talent will deliver an exceptional level of care for clientele—fostering meaningful relationships with new customers and establishing an exceptional brand reputation in the local community, by leveraging their aptitude for interpersonal communication, brand custodianship, and ability to understand and communicate product knowledge.
The Store Manager will be responsible for leading and guiding their team to inspire, develop and use their strengths to cultivate a warm environment that meets the store’s performance KPI’s across customer-facing and commercial objectives.
The Store Manager will be responsible for inspiring their team to actively cultivate a warm and welcoming environment. Developing team members as instore brand ambassadors, who are aligned with the customer facing and commercial objectives of the brand, to meet the store’s performance KPIs.
They will possess innate people skills, with a nuanced understanding of their client’s needs, and will draw on their background in the premium retail sector to manage a dynamic scope of work across people leadership; commercial performance; visual merchandising; boutique presentation; rostering and retail operations; stock management and reporting.
The Store Manager will display product advisory expertise, both to clients and team members, drawing on their comprehensive brand knowledge across product and brand values. They will also extend their expertise to training and hiring, in unison with retail leadership.
The talent we seek will be a thoughtful and confident communicator, with an excellent understanding of the brand and their client profiles. They will be consistent and attentive across all of their interactions with stakeholders, team and customers, and will balance this with a passion for consultative excellence and business growth.
