All cars are inspected routinely throughout the repair process by the team leader and a thorough Quality Assurance check is completed before your car is returned to our clients.

Right now we are seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities of a Motor Mechanic:

1. Carry out a detailed inspection and diagnosis of the vehicle, dismantling and reassembling other components, such as the engine, if necessary, to identify mechanical faults and replace damaged parts.
2. Perform repair tasks on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, chassis, and electrical systems.
3. Replace or fix defective vehicle components, such as engine parts, braking systems, steering mechanisms, and common suspension elements.
4. Regular maintenance services like cleaning engines, transmissions, and other systems, changing oil and filters, to maintain vehicle performance and keep it looking like new.
5. Completion of repairs or maintenance of vehicle components, followed by performance tests to ensure proper functioning of the vehicles
6. Reasonable preparation of tools to be used and mechanical parts to be replaced in the repair or assembly of vehicles.
7. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.

Skills required:

1. Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.

3. Possess the ability to detect and diagnose faults in mechanical and electrical systems.

4. Capable of handling the removal and refitting of major components with the aid of appropriate equipment, ensuring physical strength and stamina for the task.

5. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards within the workshop environment.

6. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
