Quality repairs are paramount to our team, with thorough inspections and quality assurance checks ensuring every vehicle meets our high standards.

We are currently seeking an experienced High-Tech Vehicle Technician to perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on various vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Detailed Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive inspections to identify mechanical faults, dismantle components as needed, and replace damaged parts to restore vehicle performance.
  2. Repair and Maintenance Services: Perform tasks on vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, chassis, and electrical systems, to ensure optimal functioning.
  3. Component Replacement and Repair: Replace or fix defective vehicle components, such as engine parts, braking systems, steering mechanisms, and common suspension elements, to maintain vehicle safety and performance.
  4. Maintenance Services: Provide regular maintenance services like cleaning engines, transmissions, and other systems, changing oil and filters, to maintain vehicle performance and appearance.
  5. Quality Control and Testing: Complete repairs or maintenance services, followed by performance tests to ensure proper functioning of the vehicles.
  6. Tool Preparation and Parts Management: Prepare tools and mechanical parts for use in the repair or assembly of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Trade Qualification: Possess a trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).

2. Industry Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.

3. Fault Detection and Diagnosis: Be able to detect and diagnose faults in mechanical and electrical systems.

4. Physical Demands: Be capable of handling the removal and refitting of major components with the aid of appropriate equipment, ensuring physical strength and stamina for the task.

5. Safety Regulations: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards within the workshop environment.

6. Collaboration and Independence: Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We encourage skilled and enthusiastic candidates to apply.
