The Department
SBS CulturalConnect is a team of strategy, creative and solutions specialists that connect organisations to culture, community and Country across SBS’ ecosystem.
The Role
The CulturalConnect Team within SBS Media Sales is seeking an experienced, dynamic & tenacious team player to join us in the position of Solutions Manager. Reporting into the Head of Client Solutions & Sponsorships, this integral member of the team is responsible for driving sponsorship strategies and developing multi-platform integrated solutions for SBS advertising clients.
Reporting into the Head of Client Solution & Partnerships, this role will see you doing the following:
Independently leading the end-to-end response process to integrated brand solution briefs, ensuring solutions are strategically sound, deliver to brief and drive positive outcomes for SBS. This includes running ideation sessions, developing creative ideas, identifying compelling insights, building presentation decks & schematics, in-market pitching and managing on-going client comms Delivering other major go-to-market collateral & credentials presentations such as network-wide updates and showcase presentations Strategically identify & develop cross-platform sponsorship opportunities for key SBS content & major network events Building positive relationships with the wider CulturalConnect and National Media Sales Teams, plus broader SBS business including Marketing and Content Divisions to drive cross-collaboration, uncover and refine integrated commercial opportunities Developing constructive relationships in market with key agency contacts and partnership divisions, to increase the awareness of CulturalConnect, our integrated solution offering and uncover new briefs Proactive development of & feedback towards new and innovative processes, training, partnerships and commercial opportunities to enhance CulturalConnect and SBS Media’s success (revenue & team) Management of Executive Team, supporting their delivery of key responsibilities across brand solutions & sponsorships and providing mentoring & coaching with a positive, solutions based approachIt is a requirement of this role that incumbents are fully vaccinated with an approved Covid-19 vaccination in line with the ATAGI guidelines which include booster shots. We do however have a medical exemption process and we would be happy to discuss your application should this be applicable to you.
About you
Demonstrated experience creating integrated commercial opportunities across multiple media platforms (TV, digital, audio, social etc.) Sound understanding of the media agency and sales environments, well-developed communication & relationship building skills and strong at presenting. Strong knowledge of the digital & social landscape and commercial opportunities to be able to help strengthen and grow the team’s capabilities in this rapidly changing environment.
