We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to help drive our Process Mining and Process Excellence activities across the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for engaging with our clients' teams to identify, extract, and transform data elements that will drive our Process Intelligence and Process Excellence initiatives. You will work closely with the Director of Process Mining and Process Excellence to develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency, enhance business outcomes, and contribute to overall growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with a strong track record of managing client relationships, understanding complex data environments, and delivering process mining solutions that drive measurable business value. Strong technical skills in data extraction, cleansing, and modeling are required. Knowledge of process mining tools such as Celonis, Apromore, Appian or UiPath is highly valuable. A solid understanding of business processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex insights effectively are essential for success in this role.

You will be responsible for developing business opportunities by identifying and extracting key data elements that will be used as inputs into Process Mining technologies. You will ensure that the extracted data is optimized for use in process mining, leveraging your knowledge of data architecture and integration methodologies to create efficient and scalable solutions.

From a service offering perspective, you will support the identification of market trends and emerging client demands for specific services in the Data space. You will also contribute to the development of the offering and act as a key point of contact for both the sales and delivery organizations. You will be responsible for identifying and growing opportunities by leveraging your expertise to tailor solutions that address unique client challenges, ultimately leading to tangible improvements in operational efficiency and business outcomes.


Responsibilities & tasks for this role:

• Engage with clients to identify, extract, cleanse, and prepare data for use in Process Mining applications.

• Analyze client data to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for process optimization.

• Develop data models to facilitate process analysis and improvement initiatives.

• Create impactful visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring successful project delivery within scope.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and ensure data-driven insights are aligned with their strategic goals.

• Collaborate with other leaders in the company to ensure a cohesive approach to business development and client management.

• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, and ensure that we are continuously improving our offerings.

• Mentor junior team members in data science methodologies and best practices, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing across the team.

• Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, such as machine learning, to drive further value from process mining initiatives.



Requirements


• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field

• Expertise in data extraction, cleansing, and modeling using tools like SQL, Python, or R.

• Strong knowledge of business processes, operations, and identifying areas for optimization.

• Experience in optimizing data for use in analytics and process mining, understanding data pipelines, architecture, and integration methodologies.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

• Proven experience in managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor, effectively guiding stakeholders through data-driven insights.

• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of deriving actionable insights from complex data sets and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
