The Role
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) (Drug & Alcohol) role at the Immigration Detention Facilities is an integral part of IHMS’ Drug and Alcohol team. Key responsibilities:

Requirements
Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse Minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience working with people with drug and alcohol use or concerns, in a D&A setting, including experience in opioid substitution treatment Advanced clinical assessment skills and management of alcohol and drug issues Good knowledge of harm minimisation principles Current BLS or First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain it)-
