Conference and Event, Food and Beverage Staff required for Elements of Byron. Come and join our Events and Conferencing team

Come to the resort, tomorrow Wednesday 3rd July at 11.30am for a group interview. Bring your resume, ID and RSA

To be successful you will need to be available to start on Friday, 5th July at 12noon for 2hrs training and then to work our event on Saturday starting at 5pm.

Elements of Byron is an award winning beach front resort nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise. We are looking for a small team of motivated, energetic Food & Beverage Attendants who will work closely with our Event and F & B Operations Manager.

Ideally you may have worked in conferencing in the past, or in a fast paced restaurant or bar.

You will be the type of person who can confidently converse with our guests, explain menu and beverage items and assist with dietary requirements. If you are looking for a longer term role with the ability to work not only in our Events and Conferencing team but also in our award winning restaurant or one of our cafes/outlets by the pool, we would love to hear from you.

To be successful you will hold a NSW RSA, be a strong team player, working well with other colleagues on the floor and our kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements

  • Preferably an Australian permanent resident with a commitment to longer term employment.
  • Previous hotel, resort, conferencing, event or restaurant experience essential
  • Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply, but will require a min of a 4 - 6 month commitment to the resort.
  • Availability to work a variety of hours and days
  • Current NSW RSA and drivers licence
  • Current NSW Food Handler Basics Training Certificate or happy to complete
  • Previous experience working as a Food and Beverage attendant or Waiter
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
  • High standard of grooming, presentation and communication
  • Confidence in conversing with our guests and clients
  • Actively demonstrate pride in your work
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
