Job Summary

The SeniorBusiness Analyst will take on a leadership role in Camp Australia as weundertake a period of transformation. They will be responsible for driving thebusiness analysis function, mentoring analysts, and contributing to thedirection of the agile function as we level up our Agile practices. The SeniorBusiness Analyst will collaborate with senior stakeholders, provide thought leadership,and ensure the successful delivery of complex projects within the agileframework.

This role isto bring a higher level of expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to thebusiness analysis function. Contribute to the success of projects, initiatives,and the organization as a whole by providing advanced insights, drivingeffective solutions, and elevating the role of business analysis within theorganization.

Duties and Responsibilties
 Leadership and mentoring Lead and oversee the business analysisfunction within the agile transformation team, ensuring the delivery ofhigh-quality outcomes. Mentor and coach businessanalysts, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth. Provide thought leadership onagile practices, and industry trends. Strategic Alignment Ensure the efforts of theBusiness Analysis functions align with Camp Australia’s strategic goals Provide insights tostakeholders and contribute to the strategic direction of Camp Australia Lead agile ceremonies Complex Problem Solving Conduct in-depth analysis ofcomplex business processes and systems, identifying opportunities forimprovement and recommending innovative solutions. Drive the creation andmaintenance of a comprehensive set of agile artifacts, such as process models,user stories, and acceptance criteria; and others as dictated by the project Stakeholder Relationship Management Collaborate with seniorstakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into actionableinitiatives and projects. Collaborate closely withproduct owners and senior management to define and prioritize the productbacklog, aligning it with business goals and objectives. Act as a liaison betweenbusiness. Change Management Assist in delivering changeacross Camp Australia – delivering transformation projects, guide stakeholdersthrough the adoption of new processes, methodologies, and technologies.
Initiative and Self-Startership Proactively identifyopportunities for improvement Exhibit a proactive approach toproblem-solving – seeking out new ways to value add and contribute. Deliver high-quality outcomes by continuallyseeking ways to enhance and improve the Business Analysis function and take the initiative to contribute beyond assigned tasks4

Requirements

EssentialExperience

Extensive experience as a Business Analyst; ideally across largeprojects, transformation projects, digital delivery and BAU Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring other Business Analysts Demonstrated ability to align project goals and BA efforts to CampAustralia’s strategic goals Demonstrated experience in projects with varied stakeholders and complexprocesses Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and evolving thepractices of the BA Track record of analysing complex problems and breaking down tomanageable components for delivery Experience in building and maintaining relationships, managingexpectations and effective communication function Experience working closely with Senior Stakeholders Experience delivering change initiatives

Technical and Professional Skills

Experience with the Atlassian product suite and other collaboration tools
Knowledge and understanding of software development processes andprojects in an Agile environment (a must)
Strong knowledge of requirements management – elicit, document, track (amust)
Understanding of product management and agile concepts (a must)
Experience in project delivery (a must)

Nice-to-have

Experience with Finance, Roster, or supplier systems
Ability to use SQL to make inquiries on a database to understand the problemdomain
