Join the team 

Kmart is launching a strategic initiative to transform the online shopping and fulfillment experience, driving both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This project will enhance real-time inventory visibility, reducing out-of-stock items and cart abandonment, while delivery lead-time visibility will boost conversion rates and improve post-purchase experiences.

Operationally, this initiative will help reduce order cancellations, minimize split shipments, and improve fulfillment productivity. The new platform will provide greater stability with less downtime and support scalability during peak periods. Additionally, it will harmonize Kmart and Target’s digital technology stacks, streamlining processes across both brands.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading big IT projects, managing resources, and driving collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Your expertise in issue resolution, team leadership, and agile delivery will be critical to our success.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Lead and manage large, complex IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Resolve issues and negotiate with stakeholders to drive positive outcomes and maintain project momentum.
  • Engage and manage project vendors effectively to ensure delivery meets quality and timeline expectations.
  • Demonstrate proven IT delivery in an agile environment, adapting to changing project needs and stakeholder requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project planning, delivery, and dependency management, ensuring successful execution of transformation projects in a multi-vendor environment.

To be successful in the role you’ll have:  

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a medium to large-sized organization.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering huge & complex IT projects.
  • Strong experience in issue resolution and negotiation to achieve positive project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Experience in engaging and managing project vendors effectively.
  • Proven track record of IT delivery in an agile environment.
