The Position
The purpose of this role is to provide Quality Control (QC) support to Production; including inspection, identification, and related data recording activities of CEA designed components and assemblies.

This role is responsible for:

  • Perform inspections in accordance with accepted standards and procedures. These standards may include: IPC A 600; IPC A 610; IPC A 620; and J-STD-001.
  • Inspect and record the condition of Customer Supplied Property (CSP) on receipt.
  • Processing of inward goods and supplier documentation, non-conformance reports, maintain supplier quality data and provide support and advice to other staff involved in these activities.
  • Create database entries and bar-codes for CEA designed parts.
  • Contribute to the conduct of configuration audits, including the building and recording of product structures.
  • Monitor the performance of in-process inspectors and provide guidance and support so as to maintain inspection standards.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of quality processes and controls to internal teams.

Essential

  • AGSVA clearance level: Baseline
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and observation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to maintain focus working across multiple resources/projects.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft suit skills at an intermediate level (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experienced in CAS drawing interpretation.
  • Able to work as a member of a team; experience in advising/mentoring others an advantage.
  • Ability to cope with organisational change and demonstrate a high level of personal drive and resilience.

To be eligible for this position, you must be:

  • An Australian Citizen;
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance (Baseline)
