About the Role (your why)  

As the Workforce Planner, you will be responsible for analysing, forecasting, and planning the workforce supply and demand, talent needs and gaps to ensure that Datacom has the right people with the right skills to support our business objectives.

Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best 

Please note that to be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and be able to achieve a Baseline or NV1 security clearance.

 

What you’ll do   

As the Workforce Planner is responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Analysing, implementing and monitoring workforce planning initiatives to optimize and scale the evolving workforce and long-range plans
  • Collaborating with business leaders, strategic planning, HR, Finance and other stakeholders across Datacom to review existing and future workforce needs and to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial goals
  • Collecting, interpreting and evaluating workforce metrics to provide data driven insights for internal and external talent pool assessments, headcount reviews, forecasting and business scenario planning, reviews processes and monitors plan effectiveness.

What you’ll bring  

 

  • Previous experience working with WFM systems (Verint, Calabrio & Genesys preferred)
  • Previous experience working in Workforce planning within a large complex IT Consultancy
  • Strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation, and project revenue
  • Ability to work on complex assignments that requiring your analytical skills and judgment for resolving complex issues or in making recommendations
  • Experience with balancing budgets, work schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and cross functional team members within own area of expertise
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders with the ability to influence other teams
  • Previous experience in establishing and adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
