About the role:

Join us as an SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Functional Consultant on a 12-month maximum term basis and contribute to the success of our Information Technology team. Based in our vibrant Docklands office, this role is your opportunity to leverage your expertise in a fast-paced environment with a company committed to making health, beauty, and wellness experiences simpler and more accessible for Australians.

Reporting to the SAP Master Data, eCommerce, CRM & Loyalty Lead, you will be the go-to expert for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining our SAP MDG applications. Your role will involve engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including internal retail and wholesale teams, IT functional consultants, architects, and external partners, to drive seamless integration and optimal business outcomes.

You’ll leverage your deep understanding of SAP MDG and SAP S4 Hana to develop, deploy, and test system enhancements. With your collaborative mindset, you’ll foster strong relationships across departments, ensure compliance, and promote safe and ethical working practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the SAP MDG subject matter expert, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver exceptional service.
  • Specialist Knowledge: Demonstrate your proficiency in SAP MDG and S4 Hana systems, data, and process modelling, UI and process enhancements, and custom and Fiori applications.
  • Development & Testing: Use your analytical skills to design, develop, and test solutions that enhance system functionality and drive efficiencies.
  • Innovative Solutions: Employ innovative, agile ways of working to support the complex solutions and systems environment, ensuring business needs are met efficiently and effectively.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Technology, Business, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP as a functional consultant.
  • Proven experience in SAP MDG with a deep understanding of its architecture, modules, and development tools.
  • At least one full end-to-end SAP MDG implementation, focusing on both Business Partner and Material Management.
  • Expertise in SAP development tools and methodologies, including ABAP programming.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a high customer service ethic.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and influence positive outcomes even in challenging situations.
  • You MUST have appropriate working rights with no restrictions, and where you can commit to the 12 months required in this role. We do not offer sponsorship. 
  • Ability to work from our Melbourne Docklands office in line with our hybrid way of working.
