You will be working with creative and high profile clients like Zoos Victoria, Melbourne Polytechnic, The Royal Botanic Gardens, Museum Victoria and many more. Check out some of our recent work at calicoagency.com.au.

This is a hybrid position. 1-2 days pw are required from the office as well as key client meetings in person. The remainder of your week will be from home.

The role

As an Account Manager at Calico, you’ll be the bridge between clients and internal teams, nurturing relationships and ensuring projects align with client objectives. Reporting to the Account Director, you’ll manage accounts, expand existing relationships, and open new opportunities. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, a natural relationship builder, and thrives in collaboration.

You will be responsible for taking development briefs, liaising with project managers, developers and designers to produce estimates. Success in this role hinges on the Account Manager's ability to deeply understand each client’s unique business and excel in supporting and proposing strategically focused ideas.

Requirements

  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to translate the complex into the simple
  • A native understanding of all things digital
  • Be able to work without supervision and have plenty of initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong track record of building client relationships and accounts
  • Commercially minded without pushy sales techniques
  • Understand the nuances of client relationships and how best to add value
  • Ability to collaborate with teams - across different departments and skillsets
