Job Description

As a Procurement Category Specialist for Facilities Management, you will oversee the procurement processes related to all facilities management services, including hardware, cleaning, grounds, fire, pest, fit outs/construction, equipment maintenance and repairs.

You will develop category strategies that align with company objectives, negotiate with key suppliers, and ensure the efficient and cost-effective procurement of FM services.

  • Develop and implement category strategies specifically for Facilities Management services, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for FM services, including sourcing, tendering, and contract management.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms, conditions, and pricing for FM services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Facilities Management, Operations, and Finance, to understand and meet their service needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management within the FM category.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS)
