As part of a significant long-term investment across our Global Operations, both in terms of engineering innovation and advanced manufacturing including robotics, Austin has several exciting permanent full-time employment opportunities at our purpose-built manufacturing facility in Kewdale. 

We have a big pipeline of work in front of us, so we expect regular additional hours available if you want them.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & LICENCES

SKILLS & EXPERTISE

SuccessfulBoilermaker/Fabricator candidates require:

Heavy Fabrication trade qualifiedDemonstrated understanding and commitment to safe working practicesMinimum 2 years’ experience in heavy mobile equipment fabrication, repairs, and maintenanceAbility to fabricate according to all relevant proceduresArc air gouging skills (highly regarded)Clear understanding of engineered technical drawingsSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable

SuccessfulWeldercandidates require:

Ability to pass 2F, 3G and 4G weld test1st Class welder or equivalent trade certificate.Previous industry experience in heavy steel manufacturing industry.Experience in Stick, M.I.G, Flux Cored Welding.Demonstrated understanding and commitment to safe working practicesPrevious experience in heavy manufacturing desirableClear understanding of engineered technical drawingsSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
