The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service. 

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists within Office of the Chief Executive to join us as a Principal Project Manager (ASO7) .

The Principal Project Manager will work closely with the Chairpersons of the statewide Child and Adolescent Health Community of Practice (CAHCoP) in the coordination, development and implementation of activities associated with the CAHCoP workplan, including those activities derived from the health reform agenda.

Role Responsibilities:

Design and implement projects and strategies which may be of a sensitive, innovative, critical, or of complex nature. Prepare complex and sensitive briefings, reports, issues papers, submissions, and/or responses to legislation and policy development and requests for information. Participate in strategic planning processes regarding improvement of integration in paediatric health and related services. Provide professional advice, information and direction, and governance for statewide programs, service design, policy development and projects related to paediatric services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A contemporary professional practice portfolio containing evidence of postgraduate qualifications, learning and practice experience that demonstrable application of knowledge and skills commensurate with the level and type of work expected of this position. An ability to achieve outcomes through effective leadership and delegation and by working in a team. Proven ability to create and manage change and operate effectively in an environment of complexity, uncertainty, and rapid change. Demonstrated experience in innovative service delivery and in effecting change in the workplace to achieve agreed outcomes.
