What you'll do

  • As part of a broader team you will assist with design and development of civil infrastructure on urban development projects ranging from roads, stormwater, or water and sewer reticulation.
  • Liaise with various different stakeholders including builders, architects and engineers on design issues.
  • Exposure to engineering design projects in accordance with a project brief and fee.
  • Learn how to coordinate design packaging and design various interfaces.
  • Liaise with drafters across the business to enable preparation of documentation.
  • Ensure that any work that you complete is compliant with applicable codes and policies.
  • Coordinate and assist with preparation of technical reports.
  • Carry out site investigations under supervision and guidance of an experienced engineer.

Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply, you must have completed your university degree within the last year or be in your final year of study.  

The program starts in January 2025, and you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or New Zealand Citizen.
