Clough in a joint venture with BMD, is proud to announce that we have been awarded by the Northern Territory Government to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the development of the Darwin Ship Lift facility.


We are currently searching for a Quality Inspector (Civil) to join the Quality team, delivering the Darwin Ship Lift Facility Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector will oversee the Subcontractors activities ensuring Quality Control surveillance and testing activities are carried out.

The role will be based in Darwin, on a FIFO roster, 2 weeks on 1 week off.

Your focus will include:

Ensuring the promotion, awareness and compliance to the Project Quality Management System is maintained Works cooperatively with Construction, Subcontractors, and Client QA Representatives in a team environment with transparent sharing of information to the benefit of the project Ensuring quality documentation is implemented to ensure compliance with established codes, standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements Responsible for the management and signing off on Inspection & Test Plans Performs daily inspections in line with Project Specifications Document daily inspections Validate quality competencies of individuals assigned to construction tasks


What you will bring to the team:

5 years+ industry experience in a similar role within an engineering and construction environment Civil Engineer or Trade Qualification Auditor Certification Ability to communicate in a disciplined and constructive manner Ability to review and interpret technical requirements in the Contracts Strong commitment to safety and wellbeing of people
