Grape Co Farms Pty Ltd require a Quality Control Officer to join their team in Merbein South, Victoria.

Your roles and responsibilities will include and is not limited to the following:

  • Administer timely and efficient quality control in-field harvest inspection reports across multiple farms including third-party growers;
  • Administer timely and efficiently quality control inspection reports upon receival and dispatch from cold-storage facility including product assessments;
  • Provide timely and efficient detailed quality control reporting to key company personnel;
  • Provide timely and efficient detailed quality control reporting to respective growers;
  • Assist key operational and on-farm personnel to enforce and monitor specified harvest and pack-out standards and procedures;
  • Manage efficiency and quality control measures across in-house packing line;
  • General quality and technical assurance support including in-field and within cold-storage facility.

To be considered you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar table grape quality control position
  • High attention to detail, strong time management and administrative skills.
  • Excellent and well established intrapersonal and communication skills including verbal and written.
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Tertiary qualification in agronomy, plant science or similar study will be favourable.

This is a full time opportunity. A remuneration package of $85,000 per annum will be offered to the successful candidate.
