The Opportunity
As a Project Engineer in our Remediation Services team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and overall facilitation of a variety of remediation projects including; soil, water, waste, and civil. You will work to ensure Veolia's project delivery and site operations are delivered in accordance with health and safety, environmental, legislative, and Veolia corporate obligations. You will use your civil engineering experience to deliver your objectives, but your communication skills, attention to detail and ability to report with precision will also be key to your success.

What you'll be responsible for
- Practical and logical management of site activities.
- Coordination of subcontractors and logistics management.
- Interpretation of laboratory data, and reporting.
- Preparation of HSE Documentation and reporting
- Clear and practical planning of onsite work
- Onsite coordination of project delivery, sub-contractors and supplier deliveries
- Optimise operational resources and costs, identifying and delivering cost savings while maintaining operations objectives.
What you'll need to be successful
- High-level communication and organisational skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in the management of site operations
- Practical experience in Quality, Environmental and OH&S Management systems including contractor management in field-based or industrial environments.
- Driver’s licence.
