About The Position 
Join our vibrant team as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) and embrace an exciting opportunity at Lincoln Grove Retirement Village. This is a casual position, including both day and night shifts. We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of comfort and joy for our residents.

Reporting to the Village Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting and supporting residents in their daily activities, including tasks like continence management, showering, dressing, and personal grooming
  • Ensuring residents receive their prescribed medications promptly and accurately
  • Collaborating in the preparation, service, and delivery of daily meals and special functions for our cherished residents
  • Managing laundry tasks for residents as required, maintaining their comfort and hygiene

Essential Criteria 

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide a National Police Check, proof of right to work in Australia, verification of identification and qualifications, and participate in pre-employment assessment.

  • Demonstrated experience in the role and industry
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport (desirable)
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
