Your team

Opportunity for an experienced Test Lead (ETL/Datawarehouse) to work on a highly visible multi-year program involving consolidation of critical data sourced from external entities and internal sources onto an enterprise platform for advanced reporting and analytics.

You will be responsible for leading testing within a cross-functional, mature agile team, with a strong focus on test automation to support delivery of the program. The role requires taking an active part in all test related activities including test planning and execution, test automation, providing testing support and maintaining and improving test processes, tooling and outputs, whilst working in a scrum team.

This is a maximum term contract role ending in December’2025.

Your background

Test Lead with hands-on experience of managing Testing and QA processes across data transition and consolidation projects  with experience across all phases of testing in an Agile environment and previous working experience in a large scale IT project, preferably a ETL/Data-warehousing project.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating Agile Test strategies, reviewing Test Plans and Test Summary Reports, provide Test Estimation for upcoming releases and focussed on adoption of test automation frameworks for the ETL project.

To be successful in this critical role you will:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience across ETL Testing (Data Stage, Tidal or any other ETL tools experience)
  • Demonstrated practical experience in BDD (Behavioural Driven Development) projects with experience in Gherkin language and good knowledge in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Delivery) concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience across all phases of testing on data warehouse and business analytics/reporting projects are essential.
  • Strong experience with REST API, SQL and IBM Datastage, IGC and related toolsets is essential too.
  • Web Based application testing and strong knowledge/understanding of API integration.
  • Experienced on Test strategies and Test Estimates
  • Experienced on Test estimations with high level requirements.
