Nic Design Studio is established in 2017, we specialize in innovative and high-quality design solutions, and providing, creating spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing, master planning, architecture, interior design and engineering services for commercial and residential projects of various scales and strive to create new benchmarks in terms of innovation, design and quality for these projects.

We are looking for a talented and experienced team member who are well versed in all aspects of the interior design delivery process. From inception through to successfully delivering the project in terms of design excellence, on time, on budget and to the required quality. This is an exciting career opportunity allowing you to take ownership of key elements that contribute to mid- to large-scale interior design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand clients’ design preferences, needs, and objectives.
  2. Take responsibility for leading the quality of design narrative, design development and technical performance for specific projects.
  3. Collaborate with architects and Senior Interior Designer in creating functional and creative CAD drawings, space planning.
  4. Select materials, finishes, and furnishings to bring designs to life.
  5. Present design proposals and renderings to clients for approval.
  6. Work closely with the procurement team to ensure material selection aligns with budget constraints.
  7. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure that project timelines are met and the design is implemented accurately.
  8. Stay updated on design trends, sustainability practices, and industry standards.
  9. Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and project progress.

About you

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  1. at least 2 years of proven experience in the design and construction of interior design and architectural projects.
  2. Experiences of working with a collaborative, creative, and resourceful team. You will possess specialized experience
  3. Strong technical knowledge of fit-out details, with the ability to take designs through to documentation
  4. Strong understanding of the building and construction industry, including construction processes
  5. Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and email).
  6. Portfolio sample that demonstrate your proficiency in interior design is preferred
  7. Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture is highly preferred
  8. Skilled in using Revit, CAD, D5, Lumion, photoshop and skethup is highly preferred
