Permanent full-time position – 38hr week Stylish Mascot office – close to cafes & public transport Flexible/hybrid working arrangements – 3 days/week with 2 days WFH after training

The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical support to service requests, supporting activities of all IT End User Devices (EUD) and delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll enjoy variety in your role including:

Lead our uncompromising Safety First culture throughout the organisation and customer relationships. Managing all EUDs within the Coates Hire environment including device patching, security practices, anti-virus programs and version updates to budget Own and resolve all EUD based tickets escalated to them by the Service Desk. Ensure standards are in place for EUD computing within the Coates environment and policies and procedures are adhered to. Ensure the right tools and processes are in place to be able to deploy hardware and software across the user base. Work with appropriate products, processes, systems, applications, and technology owners, to transition the business-as-usual support into the Desktop Support team. Contribute to development and implementation of desktop management strategies, including the use of tools for automated deployment and configuration.

What you’ll bring to the role

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) 2+ years’ experience in managing EUDs Proven troubleshooting and incident management experience Strong analytical skills Managing support tickets using ticketing systems including Jira Service Management EUD Hardware, OS and Applications Administration Development and Administration of Asset Mgt, Patch Mgt, SOEs and Mobile Device Mgt Effective customer service/communication skills including use of adaptive language to a non-technical audience. Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Implement and maintain Intune for mobile device management (MDM). Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards using Intune. Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar are preferred.
