About the opportunity
Werribee Mercy Hospital is a public hospital servicing the growing community of the West. Our Intensive care unit provides care to patients with a variety of medical, surgical and non-invasive cardiac conditions. Our service also includes a 24 hours clinical liaison service, rapid response service and clinical educator to facilitate professional development opportunities.
We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Nurse for the Associate Nurse Unit Manager Role to assist the NUM in the clinical leadership of the unit.
● This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated nurse to join the Intensive Care senior nursing Management Team.

● We provide a rotating roster including day, night and weekend shifts.

● Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
● A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
● The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
● Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
● Post graduate qualification in Critical Care nursing.
● Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Intensive Care Nursing
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
● A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
● Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
