About the role 
 

As the Senior Planning Lead, you will ead and manage the coordination of key planning functions across Digital and CFCs to ensure we are planning appropriately across various time horizons.

You will

  • Coordinate key analysis for reasons why we as a CFC function have over delivered or under delivered on a weekly basis
  • Identify appropriate cadence for planning stakeholder groups to meet regularly (past performance, current performance, forward looking view) 
  • Establish appropriate escalation routes where decisions are required to be made to improve performance for the current week (ensuring all within budget) 
  • Challenge key stakeholders at the right points in time to ensure metrics and KPIs will be met ensuring key drivers behind performance is identified 
  • Establish appropriate reporting to drive planning meetings and outputs thereafter
  • Understand key planning requirements across all CFC planning functions (trade planning, forecast and ordering, network & last mile planning, CFC resource planning and asset planning)
  • Combine various KPIs and metrics to form one consolidated view at any time horizon (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, 18+ month) to understand how CFCs are expected to perform (orders, sales, sales growth etc)
  • Work closely with 5 key planning functions to understand respective plans in detail (trade planning, forecast and ordering, network & last mile planning, CFC resource planning and asset planning) 
  • Utilise previous experience to overlay what could work well to improve performance 
     

You have
 

  • Retail and/or FMCG experience
  • Previous experience in network planning preferred 
  • Proven experience in complex analytical problem solving (eg hypothesis based problem solving)
  • Experience in using technology and data to solve problems
  • Ability to quickly become seen as a trusted advisor with the ability to influence, engage with stakeholders, and communicate complex information simply
  • Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders at different levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills with strategic mindset, structured thinking, and approach
  • Excellent communication with ability to navigate various levels of stakeholders 
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams to plan across various time horizons 
  • High level of maturity and confidence and strong interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships across the organisation and diverse stakeholders
