Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people? Do you have a caring nature and a desire to support others in living their best life? If so, Anglicare Sydney is looking for dedicated Carers to join our team and help enhance the well-being of our residents.
About the Role:
As a Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a vital role in supporting residents to live independently and with dignity. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.
About You:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
- Experience in aged care or disability support is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
- Alignment with Anglicare’s Christian ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding)
- Supporting residents with mobility and physical assistance
- Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
- Collaborate with the broader care team to provide holistic support to residents.
- Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere within the care facility.
- To be successful in this role you must have: NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
