We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team. This will be an on-going gig where you'll be rostered every week to venues across Sydney.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to prevent unauthorized access and identify suspicious activities.
  • Monitor and operate security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances.
  • Support the operational team by implementing and enforcing security protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate and communicate seamlessly with team members to maintain a unified approach to security operations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches or incidents and compile detailed reports.
  • Assist in the development and execution of security plans and risk assessments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Follow OHS and Security Protocol in de-escalation as required.  
  • Prevention mindset at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Valid 1AC NSW Security License.
  • Valid RSA Competency Card.
  • First Aid Certification (current).
  • Police Check (recent and valid).
  • Proven experience in a Security Officer role - 2 years minimum experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to stay calm and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and keen observation skills.
  • Proficiency in using security equipment and systems, including CCTV monitoring and access control.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Professional etiquette and full PPE required.
