As a Senior Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.  

You’ll help achieve this by:

  • Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACEQUA recognised qualifications)
  • Having a strong knowledge in the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Demonstrating exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
  • Being a passionate educator who is driven by a desire to provide quality learning experiences
  • Evidencing experience in a Senior Educator role/Leadership skills
  • Planning and implementing innovative and high-quality educational programs for each individual child
  • Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of passionate educators within your room

Our Centre at Goodstart Banksia Grove

  • You can find our centre right next to Banksia Grove Primary School and directly behind the local community centre on Viridian Drive
  • Parking available in front of the building and a bus stop directly beside us
  • We are an 82 place centre
  • Our centre provides care and education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age
  • We have an amazing team of long-term permanent educators, ensuring continuity and strong relationships with our children and families
