About the role 

We’re seeking a Solution Architect in our Customer Platforms team to play a key role in Core Tolling, Billing and Collections, that will contribute to the success of Transurban by providing technical leadership.

You’ll join an innovative team that focuses on delivering the core business capabilities.

As our Solution Architect, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work. 

Day-to-day, you will: 

  • Provide Solutions Architecture across the Tolling and Customer Value chain

  • Ensure that solutions are appropriate to the existing and emerging business and technology environments and align to the Enterprise Architecture roadmap

  • Supporting the various needs of the delivery teams and operations portfolio

  • Be responsible for multiple large-scale and complex enterprise projects

  • Produce and input to impact assessments, proposals and business cases

 

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: 

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with experience in technical leadership

  • Experienced Solution Architect from a strong software engineering background (Oracle Fusion and Oracle DBs; JAVA; AWS; SQL Server;.NET; API driven development; Development and Deployment Automation)

  • Strong experience in Software Engineering / Development; SDLC and experience in the principles of Agile, CI-CD and DevOps

  • Deep understanding and experience in using the principles of Waterfall; Iterative Delivery (Agile); CI- CD and IT Service Management and Operations

  • Tolling or Collections experience – nice to have
