The Opportunity:

We have the largest in-house engineering team of any contractor with over 100 engineers and you will be provided with the right guidance and mentoring from our industry leading team, to help you build your career and grow professionally.

The Beginning of your Journey:

CPP are moving into a major delivery period moving into the construction phase and we are looking for two Graduate Project Engineer with an electrical background to join our growing Queensland team. 

You will work closely with the Project Managers and rotate across our Queensland Business Unit to acquire valuable knowledge across project engineering and delivery support on range of elements in our high voltage projects. You will contribute to the team by providing input into primary and/or secondary system designs, field operations, project procurement, site construction, quality systems management, estimation, and testing/commissioning and will spend valuable time onsite at various regional project locations.

About you:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (or studying your final year), preferably within the last 4 years, with specialisation in electrical, electronics and/or high voltage power engineering
  • Must be studying your undergraduate degree at an Australian University
  • A great attitude with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
