About the Role 
Swinburne Edge are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join the team as an Administration Support Officer. 

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in providing high-level administrative support to the Swinburne Edge Leadership Team. This highly visible role will support the Executive Director and Portfolio Directors in the successful execution and delivery of day-to-day support as well as coordination of strategic projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with senior staff across the University as well as external clients and stakeholders.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative support at a senior management level, including the ability to deal with information of a sensitive and confidential nature.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems and packages such as MS Office, email systems and Personal Digital Assistance (such as iPhone, Laptop, and iPad).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to effectively deal with conflicting priorities on a daily basis under limited direction.
  • Sound financial management skills, understanding and ability to prepare and analyse MS Excel financial spreadsheet reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing project coordination support of projects at various levels to support the progress of projects through to completion is preferred. 

Qualifications

  • A degree or associate diploma with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and related expertise or broad knowledge in administrative, personal assistance fields and/or project coordination; or an equivalent.
