Supply Chain Manager, ANZ

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Global Operations team as a Supply Chain Manager based in Victoria, Melbourne.

This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Director, APEC (based in Singapore) and manages a team of 4. You will work in close partnership with the commercial team, and our partners in the Global Operations team (i.e. quality and manufacturing).

Key Responsibilities

This role will have the following accountabilities:

Create and manage robust & cost-effective supply within the sub-region of ANZ, with specific emphasis on security of supply, total cost of supply, inventory management, risk management, local logistics and related supply activities. The Supply Chain Manager is the primary interface with Commercial in the sub-region.

Customer Service to achieve order processing to agreed customer service levels.

Logistics and Warehousing to achieve the cost-efficient distribution of products from warehouse to customer, to the required HSEQ standards.

Planning to meet forecast product demand and ensure all supply inventories are optimised.

Lead and drive the S&OP process by working with functional teams and local teams across Asia Pacific to deliver a robust demand and supply plan for the business.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand, supply, inventory, and financial targets to identify risks and opportunities.

Proactively identify potential customer service issues and work with the team & other key stakeholders to ensure that they are resolved. 

Liaise with internal departments as and when urgent orders are required and provide support to customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Take ownership of customer queries and complaints and manage the feedback process.

Review work processed for continued improvement.

May assist in other areas or perform duties as required.

Environment Health & Safety (EHS)

Perform, maintain and improve the EHS standards and requirements set by the Company. Participate in the company’s EHS program including training, audit etc., arranged by the company.

About You

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

Knowledge of supply chain Operations.

Knowledge of sub-regional business requirements.

5-10 years of experience within the chemical, food ingredient/food-related industries

At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.

Experience in leading S&OP processes.Experience in dealing with 3PL Service Providers

Strong competencies in SAP

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Stress resistance and resilience

Experience in handling of food grade products will be an added advantage
