About The Opportunity

Become a crucial part of our Water Services team as a Senior Treatment Plant Operator (Dual Ticket) , playing a pivotal role in the effective operation and maintenance of our Treatment Plants. As a central figure, you'll contribute essential management assistance, providing specialised guidance on regulatory compliance, best practices and procedures. 

About You

  • Possession of Certificate III or equivalent in Water and Wastewater Treatment Operations (Dual Water and Wastewater Certification).
  • Extensive hands-on experience in operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants, coupled with a deep understanding of relevant legislation, policies, guidelines and codes relating to the provision of water and wastewater services. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency and verified skills to operate light and medium mechanical equipment utilised in operation and maintenance of treatment plant assets. 
  • Hold a current Class 'HR' Drivers Licence or ability to obtain. 
  • Demonstrated good level of oral and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external parties. 
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience and ability to motivate, lead and guide work teams.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office, industry software, and Council applications.
