ARC are seeking a motivated individual to join our Wodonga branch in an Operator role.
As an Operator, you will have the opportunity to join a small, high performing team of 8 to achieve KPIs and drive a safety-first culture while gaining experience in steel processing, unitisation and distribution. The working hours for this role will be from 7:am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with some overtime available during busier periods.
You will also be supported by the Australian Reinforcing Company in acquiring relevant competencies and tickets (such as Overhead Crane) required to manage your role as an Operator, while receiving continuous mentoring from the leadership team to develop your skills further.
Your key duties will include:
To be successful in this role you will value collaborative working environments, promote a safety-first culture, and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a physical, fast-paced, high-volume role that will require attention to detail and time management skills to meet KPIs.
Further requirements of the position include:
Driver’s licence (essential) Forklift licence (essential), with experience (preferred) Good mechanical aptitude A background in steel or timber manufacturing including cabinetry or joinery (preferred) An enthusiastic, self-motivated, and reliable approach to your work A safety-focused mindsetSuccessful applicants will complete a pre-employment medical assessment prior to hire.
