About the Role

Quest for Life Foundation is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with Australian regulations, and support strategic decision-making. Reporting to the General Manager, this role involves budgeting, financial reporting, donor fund management, and adherence to not-for-profit sector standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with ACNC, ATO, and Australian financial standards.
  • Oversee payroll, grants, donor funds, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CA preferred.
  • 5+ years in financial management, with 2+ years in a not-for-profit.
  • Strong knowledge of ACNC, ATO, and Australian charity regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and Excel.
