The Opportunity


What you’ll be doing

What does a normal day in the life of a Digital Designer look like? Well, no 2 days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your day to include some of the following things:

  • Collaborate with and influence the eCommerce team to create commercial, customer focused, co-ordinated digital design promotions that best reflect Catch’s handwriting and taste level
  • Have the ability to negotiate content outcomes with the eCommerce team
  • Execute Catch’s brand guidelines on the website to add value through design and sales in line with Catch brand
  • Visually articulate and effectively communication the direction of the brand for the website and our customer.
  • Website custodian for digital design. You know it back to front & own it.
  • Maintain strong aesthetic taste and have an eye for high quality design that is commercial


The skills you'll have

  • A junior to mid weight designer with 1 – 3 years’ experience, ideally in a retail environment
  • Animation / Motion graphics is a plus
  • Someone who had a strong visual eye for beautiful well-crafted digital outputs
  • Experience in retail digital design is preferred
  • Fluency in tools including Figma and Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of visual layouts (fonts, type and layout)
  • The ability to understand and interpret creative briefs to take from concept to final output.
  • Understands how visual communication can impact audiences
  • Can proactively identify new and creative approaches to elevate the work we produce
  • Can communicate work and explain rationale around your approach to design work.
  • High level of aesthetic taste displayed in relation to colour, composition, materials, coordination and execution
  • The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise and focus on multiple tasks
  • Creative flair and the ability to promote new ideas for the benefit of the team and business
