About the Service 

At St Patrick's Outside School Hours Care we provide before school care, after school care and vacation care to up to 90 children. Our OSHC aims to provide high quality care for all children. The service program is reflective of the current framework – My Time Our Place, extending and enriching children’s wellbeing and development in a school age care setting.

Children are supported to participate in a range of play and leisure experiences. Our program reflects children’s need to practice social skills, solve problems, be challenged and learn life skills based on their individual interests and abilities.
The staff at St Patricks OSHC are dedicated to providing a stimulating, safe and caring environment for the children.

As an Educational Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in cultivating children's lifelong love for learning. From planning and delivering enriching programs to fostering strong connections with families and the community, your contributions will make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement high-quality, inclusive educational programs.
  • Ensure all children have the opportunity to participate in special events and activities.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and have fun safely.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills.
  • Promote our service within the local community, aligning with Catholic Early EdCare's educational philosophy.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate III, IV, or Diploma qualification recognized by ACECQA.
  • Prior experience as an Educational Leader or in a similar role preferred.
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
