Penrith Panthers has an opportunity for an energetic and versatile customer service professional to join their friendly Panthers team.

 

We are looking for an energetic team leader with a welcoming smile to deliver excellent service to our members and guests at our Kelly’s Café while managing the day-to-day operations on a full-time basis. Thriving in a fast-paced team environment. You will lead, motivate and develop the team and inspire them to deliver an exceptional customer experience while also ensuring a clean and safe environment.

 

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

  • Maintaining high levels of customer service at all times;
  • Taking customer orders and cash handling;
  • Food and beverage service including, barista, desserts and basic food preparation including making sandwiches and plating food;
  • General cleaning duties including maintaining floor cleanliness including table clearing, glass and plate collection;
  • Daily shift and staff management;
  • Ordering and effective replenishment of products;
  • Assisting and resolving employee and customer enquiries;
  • Completing Daily Shift Reports;
  • Daily cash reconciliation and processing;
  • Ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of members and guests by ensuring all WHS requirements are being met at all times;
  • Ensuring the success and cohesion of the team;
  • Adhering to Panthers policies, procedures and legislative requirements;

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality café industry;
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills;
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to your work;
  • A proven track record for providing exceptional customer service;
  • RSA and RCG Certificates or willing to obtain;
  • High standard of personal grooming and;
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.

You will have fantastic communication skills and have the ability to motivate and encourage those around you with your positive approach and friendly personality. You will take pride in your appearance, your workplace and your team. The Cafe is open Monday - Sunday. You will be required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available from 6:30am to 9:30pm to work as required including nights, weekends and public holidays.
