Cafe Supervisor Job Description

At Panthers Penrith, we are seeking a skilled Cafe Supervisor to lead our team and deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and versatile customer service professional to manage the day-to-day operations of our Kelly's Cafe on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high levels of customer service at all times;
  • Take customer orders and handle cash transactions;
  • Provide food and beverage service, including barista, desserts, and basic food preparation;
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including maintaining floor cleanliness;
  • Daily shift and staff management;
  • Order and replenish products effectively;
  • Assist and resolve employee and customer enquiries;
  • Complete Daily Shift Reports;
  • Daily cash reconciliation and processing;
  • Evaluate the comfort and wellbeing of customers by ensuring WHS requirements are met;
  • Promote teamwork and success within the team;
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements;
Requirements:
  • Previous 2 years' experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry;
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills;
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work;
  • A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service;
  • RSA and RCG Certificates or willingness to obtain;
  • A high standard of personal grooming;
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
