About you
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. You will provide safe and holistic patient centered care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in our suites, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.
What you bring
- Currently Registered as a Nurse/Midwife with APHRA and hold a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience of at least 1 years’ experience as an Endoscopy Nurse in an acute care and/or hospital setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised, proficiently effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity.
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development.
- Sound understanding of Infection control standards – AS 5369, HICMR, in relation to endoscopy practices and endoscopes.
- Competence in use of computer applications relevant to the work area operating systems, word processing and clinical information systems e.g. IPM, Riskman and Kronos
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and ability to practice and influence others within a professional and ethical framework that reflects the values of the organization.
