About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated Transport office Administrator to join our small close knit team to support the day-to-day operations of GKR Transport in our Regency Park office. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, with potential for the occasional extended hours to ensure all trucks are prepared and on the road.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage invoicing for on-forwarders and provide accurate quotes for other depots
  • Handle customer service inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Answer incoming calls and liaise directly with clients daily
  • Accurately process data entry, check invoicing, and manage consignment notes
  • Ensure timely and effective handling of all customer requests

About You

  • Must have a Minimum of 2 years administrative experience preferably in a warehouse, transport or logistics environment.
  • Strong communication skills that will allow you to liaise with varied customers.
  • A strong proactive customer service approach.
  • Reliable, can work independently with minimal supervision and be part of a team in delivering daily results.
  • Experience in bookings and coordination of transport with approved carriers.
  • Understanding of operations process in a distribution company.
  • Experience using Office 365.
