About the role

An exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Property Development Manager to facilitate the development of Endeavour Group's owned and leased sites across Australia as directed by the Director, Group Property.

The role will be responsible for the successful delivery of large scale mix use projects, and be the representative in dealings with architects, various consultants, councils and builders. 

This is the perfect role for someone who is confident in front of leaders, has strong stakeholder managment experience, is articulate and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. 

Here’s a snapshot of the Senior Development Manager responsibilities

Having experience in property, development and project management will see you succeed within our rapidly growing organisation as well as being able to;

Assess sites for highest and best use, complete feasibility models and present recommendations for board approval. Monitor and evaluate project performance against the baseline financial models prepared as part of the feasibility analysis. Prepare and present monthly reports. Obtain project entitlements and permits, including meeting with local councils to understand and negotiate planning and environmental issues. Oversee RFP and contracting process for architects, engineers, builders, and other project consultants and formulate recommendations. Track project schedules and monitor progress and delays. Manage financial analysts to keep project specific models up to date. Run design and construction meetings. Coordinate and attend meetings with regulatory and public officials to promote collaboration and transparency. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Interface with existing teams including hotel and retail operations and marketing.

Ideally you'll have a in 10 years experience working for a mixed use property development company or a major corporate that has had exposure to large scale mix use projects at a senior level as well as;

Property or Town Planning Degree Experience working with architects, town planners, builders, councils, lawyers and external consultants Lead engagement activities with government authorities and local community groups to attain successful authority approvals of development projects Demonstrated knowledge of local planning laws, cost planning and forecasting Able to articulate vision and enable transformation Ability to think critically - now and into the future  Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail fundamentals Adaptable and effective in complex and ambiguous environments Ability to translate customer data and insights into meaningful and relevant action Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders in complex organisations
