Clinical Trial Project Coordinator

About the Role
The Clinical Trial Project Coordinator will assist in coordinating the FlashGM Study, an NHMRC-funded national clinical trial assessing continuous glucose monitoring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with type 2 diabetes. Reporting to Prof Elif Ekinci and the Trial Manager, the Coordinator will support project coordination across 20+ trial sites, requiring experience in clinical trials, project management, and a commitment to health equity.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that trial documentation (standard operating procedures, ethics, annual reports) reporting meets the standards and compliance obligations for clinical research and reporting agencies. Providing project level support to clinical trial sites across urban, rural, regional and remote parts of Australia. Providing research project updates in a timely manner to the Trial Manager and Prof Elif Ekinci. Providing executive support to the trial committees. Who We Are Looking For
You will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, a pragmatic and creative approach to problem-solving, and the empathy to maintain good working relationships. Additionally, you will demonstrate high initiative, the ability to meet deadlines, and a strong adherence to privacy requirements.
You will also have:
Experience working as a clinical trial coordinator Demonstrated experience of project managing complex clinical trials. Previous experience in medical, nursing, public health or clinical research with a diabetes focus (diabetes educator desirable) Co-ordination of clinical trial processes including developing and executing standard operating procedures, completing multi-layered ethics submissions, regulatory submissions, addition and removal of sites, ICH-GCP requirements) to meet the standards and compliance obligations for clinical research and reporting agencies.For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.
