About Your New Role

Reporting to a highly supportive and innovative CTO, this role will work within the Engineering team and is positioned as the Salesforce subject expert for the group. As the Salesforce Engineer, you will be involved in discussing business requirements as well as play a role in the solution design that you will build. In addition to implementing Salesforce across the group, this person will also work on integrating Salesforce to other applications including ERP’s.

Some of the key tasks aligned to this role:
•Participate in discussions with business stakeholders, the IT team and external vendors to establish business requirements.
•Offer your ideas & expertise during the solution design phase.
•Development of Salesforce flows, Apex triggers, batch processes & LWC (Lightning Web Components).
•Building of systems which include data integration flows.
•As the Salesforce subject expert, where you provide guidance on configuration, customisation and system capabilities for Salesforce.
•Utilise your software development expertise to guide the team in the development of custom applications and integrations, with a focus on best practice process and high quality, maintainable code.

About You
•You will bring proven experience in solutions architecture and design within Salesforce, including an understanding Sales Cloud, Service Cloud & Community cloud.
•As a Salesforce specialist, your expertise includes configuring, customisation and development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce API’s.
•You have software development experience in your background, including proficiency in programming languages (Java, C#, Python or similar).
•Will have experience designing integrations between systems utilising technologies such as RESTful API’s, SOAP or Middleware Platforms.
•Can demonstrate an understanding of ERP’s systems including and how they integrate with the Salesforce CRM.
•Interpersonally, you are an analytical thinker and a strong communicator, who has the ability to lead technical teams to deliver outcomes. You are able to bring clarity and confidence to your stakeholders and can adjust your communication style to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
