The Opportunity: 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Heritage Consultant to join our team in Melbourne

As a Senior Consultant in Heritage, it's essential to showcase a strong understanding of heritage principles and offer diverse project advice. This involves expertise in heritage studies, conservation plans, impact statements, interpretive strategies, and precise supervision of architectural conservation.

You will: 

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a good understanding of heritage principles and policies.
  • Provide expert advice on a range of heritage matters.
  • Work across a wide range of projects with proven ability to develop proposals, tenders and submissions for potential projects.
  • Act as a leader and provide assistance to more junior staff.
  • Demonstrate high level property research, interpretation, and report writing skills.
  • Assist in the undertaking of projects, client and other stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, meeting specifications, deadlines, and budgets.
  • Help promote the firm and its services to create business opportunities.

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Heritage, Urban Planning, Architecture, History, Archaeology, or related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a high level understanding of heritage principles and legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience and strong track record with a similar role at similar level.
  • Team player who values collaboration.
