Job Description: T-Rista (Casual)

Are you a coffee aficionado with a passion for creating delightful beverages? We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic T-Rista to join our team at Chatime, located in the vibrant Leederville neighborhood of Western Australia.

At Chatime, we pride ourselves on our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through our expertly crafted beverages. As a T-Rista, you will play a crucial role in upholding our high standards and ensuring that every cup of coffee we serve exceeds our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based beverages, teas, and other hot/cold drinks according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to all customers, addressing their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces as required.
- Operate various coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, ensuring proper maintenance and care.
- Stay updated with our menu offerings and be able to provide accurate information to customers, including recommendations when requested.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain cash register accuracy.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred, but not required. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Passion for coffee and beverage preparation, with a basic understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and work well within a team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
